Sharon Crane has lost everything, except the belief in her innocence and the love for her son. She can’t remember the horrible events that took place on the night her husband’s pregnant mistress was brutally murdered, but Sharon was the last person to see her alive and apparently the only one with a motive.
Sharon is serving time for the murder in a psychiatric prison ward and hasn’t seen her husband and son in two years. She survives on the dream of freedom, justice and rejoining with her son … until one afternoon when she gets the chance to escape and seizes it.
Outside, in a labyrinth of darkness: hunted, desperate and racing against time, Sharon realizes that she is fighting a cunning and cruel enemy determined to destroy her.
